I need directions to the race day location.
Take I-5 to Carlsbad Village Drive and go west. There is plenty of street parking. Due to the various race distances there are four different starting lines. Most races begin on Grand Ave and Jefferson. Please refer to the map for your exact start location.
Do parents have to pay to be on the course with their child for ages 5-12?
No, parents do not have to pay to participate with their child. If you are planning to run the race with your child, you will be asked to allow children running alone to start first. This is for the safety of all participants.
How do I put the timing chip on?
The chip should preferably be attached to the shoelace. Loop a single lace through the square holes of the chip and pull it tightly to the shoe. We will have an example table near the Solutions area at the event.
What do I do if I lost or misplaced the timing chip?
There is a $20 Lost Chip fee that is charged. They can be reassigned a replacement chip after the fee has been paid.
Can school entries be used for Toddler Trot and Diaper Dash?
Yes, however all school entries must be postmarked by 3/26/08, and online registration closes 3/30/08. There are no race weekend discounts and no changes/additions to School Championship registration.
